into the city, coming from oakland. this is westbound. traffic moving around it okay. be aware that you cannot exit on to treasure island. officials realize that traffic is okay now but the commute hours are coming, they realize this could change. here's why this is happening. police are trying to stop a man at bush street they were told he was armed, this was in san francisco, they say he took off. while he was trying to escape, he shot at the police officers at least once. they followed him to treasure island. they say he jumped out of his car and now he's threatening suicide. police say he's on the shoreline in treasure island, before the guard booth before that vista area if you have been to the island you know what area i'm speaking about. they say it is too dangerous to let people in and out they are afraid he might fire. right now fresh island is on lockdown, no one allowed in or off, people live on treasure island so this is causing an inconvenience that will only get larger as the morning progresses and people need to get somewhere. i spoke with a man stuck in the city with his two ro

people are out towards foster city probably going shopping over there. we've got 87 past hp pavillion very light. we'll get back to but in a little bit. >>> developing news in san rafael, police are investigating an early morning nightclub shooting that sent two to the hospital. it happened before 1:00 in morning at club 101 on west francisco boulevard and anderson drive near highway 101. the club was hosting a concert a disturbance inside spilled out into the parking lot. two people were taken to marin hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries. police and other agencies moved in quickly, several weapons were recovered. terry mcsweeney will have a live report from the scene coming up in 30 minutes. >>> at least 10 residents of a san jose apartment complex will return today to see what is left after a fire last night left them hopeless. red cross is helping families from four units, two units destroyed by fire 8:30 last night, two other units unliveable due to water damage and lack of electric. firefighters say the flames broke out in a roof area possibly related to a fireplace. one m

, the idf, did report at least five rockets were fired by hamas, from gaza, toward israeli cities. but israel did not respond. now, israel and hamas are spinning this differently. you have israel on the one hand saying that they were able to make a difference and cripple hamas' military capabilities by the amount of rockets that they fired and by the targets they hit. but then, you have hamas on the other hand, saying they succeeded in showing their military might by showing israel that they can hit deep into israeli cities and fire a long-range missile. so, there's a bit of difference in the way the outcome has resulted, from this recent conflict. >> and, lama, by any measure here, they're describing this as a very fragile peace. very tenuous. how important are the next few hours? >> reporter: oh, very important. they're really crucial. and that's why all eyes are on both sides and waiting to see what happens next. so far, as i was saying, we're over 13 hours, now, into this cease-fire agreement. and both sides seem to have stopped the fighting. so, it just depends on if one deci
